From the Tools to the Team: The HIS Story

Our founder, Owen Heavey, didn’t start HIS from behind a desk. A carpenter by trade since 1999, Owen spent decades mastering the "bones" of construction, from residential renovations to bespoke commercial builds.

 

During the 2008 economic shift, Owen pivoted into the world of branding and fit-outs. He saw firsthand how a cold, clinical office could be transformed into a creative, interactive environment through high-quality graphics, glass manifestations, and acoustic finishes. Moving from Site Fitter to Project Manager on contracts up to €250k, he realized there was a gap in the market for a dedicated, future-focused installation company that valued precision as much as communication. 

 

In 2022, Heavey Install Solutions was born.
